Low calcium hardness can cause your pool water to foam.

Problem
Foamy water is a result of buildup of body oils, lotions, deodorants, and cosmetics. Foaming can also occur due to low calcium hardness levels. It is important not to let your calcium hardness level drop below 200 ppm or exceed 500 ppm.

Solution
  • Use HTH® Calcium Plus
  • Use HTH Spa Defoamer

Preventative Maintenance
  • Shower before entering the pool
  • Use an HTH® Algaecide regularly
  • Check calcium hardness levels. If below 200 ppm, add HTH® Calcium Plus
