HTH® pH Up helps balance the pH in your pool water for healthy swimming. Test your water weekly to make sure pH is between 7.2 and 7.8 ppm. If pH measures below 7.2, add HTH® pH Increaser directly to the pool water to raise the pH, prevent corrosion of pool surfaces and prevent skin and eye irritation. HTH® pH Up is great for all pool types including vinyl-lined pools and salt water systems.

How to Use HTH® pH Up

1. Test pH Levels

Use HTH® Multi-Purpose 6-Way Test Strips to test the pH level. The ideal pH range is between 7.2 and 7.8. If the pH is too low, raise it with HTH® pH Up.

2. Determine Necessary Dosage

Looking at the instruction labels on the back of the pouch, determine necessary dosage depending on pool volume (gallons) and pH level from step 1.

3. Apply Directly to Water

With the pump running, add granules directly to the pool water spread evenly around the deep end of the pool. Use a pool brush to disperse any undissolved chemicals.
